Been extremley slack for any movement on my poor blog, my bad......sometimes I would love to be able to clone myself a few times , clone me can then go to work, do the household chores and real me can spend all waking hours creating ...... ah nice thought , especially if i could send a clone me to bed and then just use the recharge on my real self......oh science fiction.....

So I've been doing a Commercial art course this year , working towards an interior design business and continueing with the monthly painters challenge group. The above is my last submission with the next due in three days......

So I've sold a couple of works .........

these two are the latest to be sold although I did paint them a few years ago now.......

These guys hang at the front door.....they have had a commisioned peice asked for, I do have a few of them pending ......actually , brief though its been , I still have much to get done today ......must go now.....crazy little thing called time........

Its been a while ....but i'm back...happy days :)

So I've been working, visually and the daily grind , the visual is the obvious work of choice. The work included above is from the last Monthly Painters Challenge , the topic being 12 Strokes.
I decided for this one I would photocopy a previous drawing I really chose a few previous works that had quite strong lines , mostly life drawings, and with the photocopy highlighting the strongest lines tackled each drawing in the most basic colour washes , some worked , some didn't.....

I am consistently working...on maybe to many things but somehow I can't help it....my head won't stop and my work makes me feel good.

Since I've not posted for a while I am putting up a few works .....a couple more less recent but mostly these are ones I've done of late .....

I have also recently taken up a Commercial Art course

This means again that its another extra activity outside being a parent, a worker , an artist and now a student.....surely sleep isn't that important ...right ?

It also means I will be much more diligent in posting my progress up here :)

ok here i go.....

I am stepping into the world of blog. Most people are running, skipping, snow boarding or whatever describes being pretty comfortable in the whole blog thing, me...... I am feeling like I am parachuting into a whole new communication experience.
 So here goes.....
Art.... creation.... tactile and visual stimulation....I love it. I am a fan. I unable to stop releasing whats inside via visual communication. I can't get enough information on other artist's - old school or modern and being surprised / amused or completely in awe of their work and the processes they use. I enjoy the fact that art in its various forms is a kind of social documentary, a cultural documentary and an emotional documentary.
